Accessibility Statement

Accessibility is part of our mission. A site about removing barriers should never create them.

Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time checkbox.

What we’re doing

  • Sufficient color contrast throughout
  • Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
  • Labeled form fields and keyboard-navigable controls
  • Plain language, written parent-to-parent

Known limitations

This site is in active development, and newer sections may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Some embedded third-party content (such as video players) is outside our direct control.

Tell us if something’s in your way

If any part of this site is hard to use, email hello@imaginereading.org with the subject “Accessibility Feedback.” We respond within 5 business days.
